Power Supply, Communication Indicate

Generally speaking, manufacturers of water equipment will block all possible leakage points when they deal with sealing problems to achieve certain waterproof performance; however, it does not seem to be a preferential solution for users who are familiar with the practical application of DMX512, because in practice applications, DMX512 signals are often affected by other signals, such as "strong power, high current" or the "frequency converter" of pump or even the "moisture" in the signal circuit, resulting in failures at one equipment node or all nodes in an entire signal string.

Common stage and lighting equipment only need protection against rain, and the operation panels or indicator lamp signals of these equipment can be closely observed by maintenance operators, so that possible causes of failures can be determined. However, many of the fountain products on the market do not have such kind of function, while fountain projects are vulnerable to signal interference arising from moisture and frequency converters. Therefore, we install LED indicators on the equipment, so that maintenance operators can easily determine the causes of failures without touching or disassembling the products.

The picture above shows the position of indicators on our equipment. Under normal circumstances, there are two indicators on our equipment, red indicator on the right side and green indicator on the left.

When the green indicator is on, it indicates the 24V DC power supply is connected; while when the red indicator is on, it indicates that the DMX signal of the pump has been received and the pump is in the "startup/idle running" state (* see the Compound Drive Operation Manual for more details).

Neither indicator is on

1

No power supply

Please check whether the power supply is turned on, and if it is already turned on, measure the voltage to confirm whether there is any voltage drop.

2 The indicator is off, but the pump and lamps are still under control
The indicators may be broken down. Turn off the power supply and restart the equipment to confirm it.
3 The indicator is off, and the pump and lamps are not under control
The driver may be damaged, please contact the dealer
The green indicator work normally, but the red indicator stops working
1 The pump has not been selected to "turn on" at the DMX control table
Select the pump to "turn on" at the DMX control table
2

The "turn on" state has been confirmed at the control table, but the red indicator is still off.

The driver address is incorrect, please input the DMX address corresponding to the control table by the address writer or the laptop grogram.

3 The indicator is off, but the pump is still under control
Indicator is broken down.
4 The "turn on" state has been confirmed at the control table and the DMX address has been correctl input by the address writer, but the red indicator is still off.

DMX signal source is not connected or there is a another problem; please check the signal cables to find and solve the problem.

5

The red indicator is flashing

here is something wrong with the DMX signal; please check the signal cables to find and solve the problem. Or the driver maybe damaged, please contact the dealer.
